Non-opioid focused care
Welcome
At West Florida Pain Management, we help people living with persistent pain get back to their routines. Our practice focuses on finding the true source of your pain — in the spine, joints, nerves or soft tissue — and treating it with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures.
Led by fellowship-trained physician Dr. Mohammed Omar, our team treats back and neck pain, sciatica, arthritis, nerve pain, headaches, cancer-related pain, and injuries from auto accidents and work. Every treatment plan is personalized and non-opioid focused, so you can move, work and live with less pain.
We welcome patients from across Pinellas and Hillsborough counties at our offices in St. Petersburg, Clearwater and Temple Terrace.

T6 · How care works here
Our promise is in our name: relieve the pain, restore what it took from you, and help you build a life with less of it.
01
A thorough evaluation — history, imaging review and, when needed, EMG/NCS nerve testing — to find the true source of your pain, then targeted relief.
02
Ultrasound- and fluoroscopy-guided procedures performed in the office — most without a hospital stay — to get you moving again.
03
A long-term plan built around you: regenerative medicine, non-opioid pain management and the Karuna multidisciplinary program.
L1 · Treatments
01
Gentle, targeted heat quiets the small nerves carrying pain from arthritic spine, knee and SI joints — for longer-lasting relief.
02
Image-guided anti-inflammatory medicine delivered exactly where irritated spinal nerves are — neck, mid back or low back.
03
A small implanted device that interrupts chronic pain signals — starting with a trial, so you know it helps before you commit.
04
A minimally invasive procedure that stabilizes painful vertebral compression fractures and helps restore spinal height.
05
Platelet-rich plasma and biologic therapies use your body’s own healing factors to support repair in joints and soft tissue.
06
Medial branch, stellate ganglion, occipital and peripheral blocks — to pinpoint where pain starts and calm it.
